Pirate’s Bight, Norman Island

This bay on Norman Island is full of character and things to do! The beach bar and restaurant is a great place to relax and enjoy a game of giant-sized Jenga. Adventurous vacationers may want to hike into the hills above the bay to search for Spanish dubloons buried here by pirates years ago.

The highlight of the Bight is the William Thornton, an old, double-decker ship that’s been permanently anchored and converted into a floating bar and restaurant. If you’re not too groggy the next morning, there are phenomenal snorkeling and SCUBA diving sites nearby. Local dive companies will even pick you up and bring all the gear!
